Community Energy England (CEE) has joined forces with Morrisons, M&S, Tesco and three of the UK’s biggest co-operatives – the Co-op Group, Central Co-op and MidCounties Co-operative – to urge the UK Government to prioritise unlocking additional renewable energy generation capacity, including solar.

Atrato Onsite Energy (ROOF) has invested £6.6 million into a rooftop solar PV system situated atop what it said is a major Marks & Spencer (M&S) warehouse.

M&S Energy has announced the 25 winners of its third annual community energy fund, with solar and storage among the most popular technologies yet again.

M&S Energy is to offer up to £300,000 in support of community renewables projects across the UK in its third successive Community Energy Fund.
