Solar Power Portal is delighted to announce that the UK Solar Summit will be returning in 2024 on 4-5 June.
Returning for the 3rd edition in a brand-new location at Novotel London West, Solar Power Portal will feature as the editorial partner for the Summit which aims to bring stakeholders from across the solar value chain together for an annual update on key developments in the market.
The UK’s solar industry continues to go from strength to strength with new ground-mount solar sites being announced on a regular basis with sizes ranging from the smallest individual landowners through to nationally significant infrastructure projects (NSIPs) featuring hundreds of megawatts.
Perhaps the most groundbreaking announcement on the NSIP front was Elements Green with its 1GW Great North Road Solar Park. Solar Power Portal recently sat down with the developer in an exclusive interview on the project.
On commercial rooftop, we are seeing businesses looking to solar as a way to gain control in light of rapidly increasing energy costs.
The UK Solar Summit brings together stakeholders from across the value chain to provide an opportunity to share knowledge and make new business connections in a bid to keep driving the sector forward.
The event has helped businesses and individuals identify the market drivers and dynamics that will provide opportunities over the coming years and expert speakers have shared their knowledge on how to bring projects through from the earliest stages of planning through to technology decisions and ultimately asset management.
