Battery and inverter manufacturer ABB will be demonstrating new and upgraded inverters at this year’s Solar Energy UK show.

ABB’s new TRIO-50.0 three-phase string inverter will be at the company’s stand and is set apart by its three component concept, comprising the central inverter and two lateral compartments for upstream DC and downstream AC connections, for connection to the PV plant and grid respectively.

Meanwhile the company has upgraded its UNO single-phase string inverter to deliver 4.6kW of power for residential installations. ABB’s REACT PV inverter will also be present at the show, which takes place next week.

Also at the show will be the company’s utility-scale PVS 980 central inverter and its SafeRing switchgear, which will be demonstrated on its PVS800 central inverter.
