Specialised cell and module manufacturer China Sunergy has signaled its intent to establish itself in the UK solar industry by securing the UK government’s Microgeneration Certification Scheme accreditation.
The certification, a prerequisite to sell solar modules in the UK under the feed-in tariff (FiT), was issued by the British Approvals Board for Telecommunications (BABT) and is valid until April 24th, 2014.
“We are very pleased with this news. This is not only a recognition of our product quality, but also a great opportunity for CSUN to step into the UK, an emerging yet strategically important market for our solar products,” China Sunergy’s CEO, Stephen Cai, said.
