With the Green Deal and new Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) requirements just around the corner, Leads2Trade has partnered with EPC House to provide a complete service for solar photovoltaics installers throughout the UK.  Under the terms of the agreement, the company will provide EPC assessments throughout the UK from this month forward.

From April 1 this year, all buildings installing solar photovoltaics will have to produce an EPC level D before they become eligible for the higher feed-in tariff (FiT) levels. If the building does not meet this requirement, the FiT payment will revert to 9p per kilowatt hour.

To ensure its network members can equip homeowners with the required level of certificate to benefit from the higher rates, Leads2Trade is offering solar installers a ‘no D no fee’ assessment package.

Leads2Trade’s Sales Director, Andy Royle, said: “We have signed an official agreement with EPC House to provide EPC assessments which will reach a level ‘D’ with complimentary free measures including cavity wall and loft insulation. If the house doesn’t attain a ‘D’ rating there is absolutely no cost for the solar installer.

“We understand that a quick turnaround is vital for solar installers, especially when you consider the current circumstances in the industry, so we also ensure that the EPC is completed within seven days and all associated measures within fourteen days, allowing for maximum installation time.”

EPC House Director, Kevin Moore, comments: “We are delighted to be associated with Leads 2 Trade providing a valuable service for solar PV installation companies. With all our DEAs being qualified in solar surveys using our services means the EPC requirement should hold no fears for installers.”

Leads2Trade also provides services to help solar installers win contracts including an appointment booking and consumer feedback reports.
