MCS accredited solar panel manufacturer Sanyo has now extended the guarantee period for its HIT solar modules to 10 years. This increased assurance comes after only 50 modules out of more than two million were returned to the Hungary-based manufacturing facility by the end of March this year.
By experiencing a return rate of only 0.0025%, Sanyo was confident to extend its product guarantee from five to 10 years for all of its HIT solar modules. This warranty is also applicable to solar modules of the standard series NxxxSE10/SE11 from May 1, 2011; modules of the HD-series HxxxE01/02; for the HIT-Double modules DNKHE1 and DNKHE1-2 and for the modules of the HDE4 / HDE4-2 and NKHE5 / NKHE5-2 series, alsofrom May 1, 2011.
