Renewable energy distributor, EH Smith has agreed a distribution deal to supply Netherlands-based Van der Valk Solar Systems’ mounting systems.
Commenting on the new partnership, Andrew Oram of EH Smith said: “In Van der Valk Solar Systems we found a reliable and results-oriented partner. Its extensive product range meets the very highest quality requirements.
Oram said that the company’s knowledge of the latest technologies and “comprehensive business complex” made it an ideal partner.
Denis de Vette of Van der Valk also welcomed the deal, stating: “EH Smith have been involved in Solar PV since 2008 and have supplied more than 30 separate Local Authority/Housing Association schemes and numerous high volume installers. The fact that a company of that calibre chooses to serve their market with our solar mounting systems, we see as an important recognition of our products and our company.”
Both companies attended Solar Energy UK 2014 where they celebrated their new partnership by offering an iPad Mini to one of the attendees of the show. Rodger Mann of Solar Star Power won the iPad, which was presented to him by Paul Fullbrook regional manager UK of Van der Valk Solar Systems.
