Patrick Allcorn, the Head of Scheme Design of the Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) at the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), has called for support from the UK solar thermal industry.

Major PV module manufacturer, SolarWorld, has established its first sales office in the UK and has completed training courses with over 50 companies from all parts of the country. The new subsidiary, which will be supporting both distributors and installers, is based in Salisbury, south of London. SolarWorld announced the news during Solar Power UK being held in Birmingham this week.
