Enevis, in partnership with the Apollo Group, has completed one of the largest multi-installation solar projects in London. After being awarded the contract in January this year the company managed to install a total of 500 systems in Walthamstow in a space of just three months.

Adding to the recent influx of positive solar news Lark Energy has today announced that it has installed a total of 15MW of solar panels across the East of England and East Midlands in a combination of rooftop and solar farm projects. To date the company has installed approximately 65,000 photovoltaic panels which in total generate enough electricity to power 4,000 households.

The Department of Energy and Climate Change has announced that multi service provider, Gemserv, will run the new Green Deal oversight body. The company will be responsible for the registration of assessors, installers and providers as well monitoring compliance with the Code of Practice.
