Results released by DESNZ show that a total of 93 ground-based solar projects, with a combined capacity of 3.3GW, scored CfD support.

The 2024 Spring Budget saw the chancellor of the exchequer Jeremy Hunt reveal that the budget for the next Contracts for Difference (CfD) auction will be set at over £1 billion.

The government has today (16 November) revealed that the administrative strike price for the latest Contracts for Difference round will be £61/MWh.
