The Scottish Government has been warned that its plan to remove the need to install solar PV systems on new properties and instead install heat pumps could have “major unintended consequences” said Solar Energy Scotland.

Southern Water has signed an eight-year solar power purchase agreement (PPA) framework with CenEden Renewables, Downing Energy Development Company and FES Services.

The UK Ministry of Defence has entered into a £5.4 million agreement with CorEnergy to supply the organisation with solar PV.
